A proud division of Country Landscapes, Inc., Country Stonemasons has served central and eastern Iowa since 2003, bringing the art of traditional stonemasonry to residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

Ancient Craft
Dry laid stone projects — built without mortar using the centuries-old art of stacking stone for fences, retaining walls, and aesthetic structures called cairns.
Our dry stone work is designed and built by Dry Stone Mason Matthew Reilly, a Level 1 certified mason under both the Dry Stone Conservancy and the Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain.

Division Manager
JB started at Country Landscapes in 1998 as an ISU student, graduating with a degree in Horticulture in 2000. In 2002, he studied at the Building Crafts College in London — completing diplomas in architectural stone carving, traditional masonry, and restoration.
Named Most Outstanding Stonemasonry Student by the Master Brick and Tile Setters of London in 2003. He apprenticed at the Houses of Parliament before returning to Iowa to open Country Stonemasons.
